Sometimes our families don’t want to see us, sometimes we’d really rather not see our families, and sometimes in the midst of all the sickly family-values rhetoric you get around Christmas, it’s nice to pause and remember the value of a community.
We’ll be cooking up a roast and maybe putting on some mulled wine. Bring booze and dishes of your own to share, and some instruments if you play. Let’s re-write some Christmas carols maybe?? But mostly let’s eat until we’re rosy-cheeked and farting merrily. Basking in the warm glow of solidarity, love and digested brussel sprouts.
